Patterns

All patterns shown on this blog are available for purchase via my pattern store on Ravelry, you can also now buy them through Craftsy. By clicking the "buy now" icon will take you through to the Ravelry pattern store website and transactions are carried out through pay pal, This is the best method to follow if you aren't a Ravelry member. However, I would strongly suggest joining the site as its an amazing resource for knitters of all levels of experience! Currently there is no way for me to add a craftsy by now button, so if you would rather go through that site just click on the above link.

 I <3 Cloisters Socks £2.95
This pretty toe up socks has a stitch pattern which incorporates twisted stitches and yarn over which look like cloisters with a little heart pattern created from the yarn overs at their peaks. I chose a grey yarn which reminded me of stone work and was in my stash, however any semi solid/solid good 4ply sock yarn would look lovely in this pattern. Written just for a women's medium, the lace pattern has a fair amount of stretch.

Beautiful Butterfly Socks £2.95
These pretty toe up socks are made up of a lace pattern which looks like butterflies and another stitch pattern which reminded me of little buttercups until I realised they had five petals instead of four. The two stitch patterns together make me think of a meadow with long grasses and little pretty flowers and butterflies. The pattern is written for women's medium approx 8.5" unstretched and women's large approx 9.25" unstretched. Instructions are also provided for adapting the sock if you have wider calf's.

Lemniscate Socks £2.95
The cable element of this sock reminds me of the  infinity symbol, which is also known as a lemniscate. This pattern provides instructions and charts for the sock to be knit toe up & cuff down. I decided to do this because the stitch pattern will look pretty either way, and I know there are people who prefer one method over the other. The pattern is written for women's small/medium and a women's medium/large.
